WelcomeWelcome to Unique Home Inspections (“the Site”). These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern your use of our website, booking tools, and inspection services. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to these T&C. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Unique Home Inspections and its affiliates.
Eligibility & RegistrationBy registering or using the Site, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. When creating an account or booking an inspection, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep those details up-to-date.
Website UseYou may use this Site for lawful purposes related to researching, booking, and managing residential inspection services in Southern California, including general home, mold, and pool/spa inspections. Content on the Site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute engineering, architectural, legal, or code-compliance advice.
- Inspection services are performed in alignment with CREIA’s Standards of Practice (SOP) unless otherwise noted in your agreement.
- Inspections are visual and non-invasive, reflect conditions at the time of inspection, and are not technically exhaustive.
- Reports are provided for the sole use of the client named on the agreement; redistribution may require our written consent.
All Site content, including text, graphics, logos, report templates, photos, and design, is the exclusive property of Unique Home Inspections or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our materials without prior written consent.
User ContentAny content you upload or submit (e.g., inquiries, reviews, or property access details) must be lawful and free from malicious code. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use it for service delivery (e.g., scheduling, report delivery, customer support). You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your submissions.
Account SecurityYou are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or suspected breach at Contact Us Page.
Scheduling, Access & Payment- Scheduling: Appointment times may vary due to property conditions and scope. We will communicate changes promptly.
- Access: Client/seller/agent must ensure safe access to all areas. Inaccessible areas may be excluded and noted in the report.
- Utilities: Electricity, water, and gas should be on and pilot lights lit; otherwise, related components may not be inspected.
- Payment: Payment terms are specified at booking and typically due prior to report release.
- Cancellations: Fees may apply for late cancellations or no-shows; see your confirmation for details.
- We do not move personal property, dismantle systems, or perform destructive testing.
- We do not determine code compliance, permits, property boundaries, or concealed defects.
- Specialized evaluations (e.g., sewer line, chimney interior, concealed mold, structural engineering) are outside a standard visual inspection unless specifically added.
- Pool/spa inspections are limited to accessible, visible components and operating controls present at time of inspection.
- Mold services, if requested, include only the specific sampling and environmental conditions noted at the time of sampling.
- Violating laws or third-party rights
- Posting unlawful, offensive, or harmful material
- Uploading malware, spam, or solicitations
- Interfering with Site functionality or operations
We may modify or terminate Site access, these T&C, or services at any time, with or without notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates. You may request account closure by contacting us at Contact Us Page.
DisclaimersAll Site materials and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Weather, occupancy, and access conditions can affect findings. Your reliance on any information is at your sole risk.
Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law, Unique Home Inspections shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site, scheduling, or inspection services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
IndemnificationYou agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Unique Home Inspections, its officers, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these T&C.
Governing LawThese T&C are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes shall be exclusively resolved in state or federal courts located in Southern, California.
